Same farm,
different name!
With expansion of our goat herd, we have changed our name from Wonder Why Alpaca Farm, LLC to Wonder Why Farm, LLC

Pasture to Product

The main emphasis of the Wonder Why Farm, LLC is Fiber Arts.  We focus on making our breeding decisions and pasture maintenance with the end product in mind.  Alpacas are fiber producing animals so as a breeding farm, we have a responsibility to the fiber industry to create a herd that will produce the Wonder that is Alpaca.

Join our Ravelry Group

We have a local group that meets monthly at various locations, including our farm, to spin and weave.  We post our monthly locations and dates in the group.

It's also a great place to share your projects made from our yarns and roving.  Plus each July we have a Tour de Fleece team where spinners from all over the world join in the fun of spinning yarn every day of the Tour de France.  The following photo shows my total yardage from 2013.  All of this yarn was spun during the month of July while working a full time job and helping our 4H group out at fair.  Yes, spinning yarn is addictive!

We'll show you the
Wonder of Farming.
