April 2-3 Indiana Invitational, Fort Wayne
Will be showing Midnight Magic's Mystery, SpinSanity of Wonder, Baronson's Haze and Sunshine of Wonder all in Halter Class

Will be showing Midnight Magic's Mystery, SpinSanity of Wonder and Sunshine of Wonder all in Halter Class
May 25 Wonder Shear Day here at the farm
Come see the Wonder of Alpaca being Sheared by the Alpaca Barber, Dave Binkowski. We will have our farm open to the public to come view both our huacaya and suri go from full fleece to skin. It's an amazing transformation. Plus we will be clipping toenails of the herd and trimming teeth.
July 4 Home Grange 129 Parade, Battle Creek
Join the Home Grange in a Fourth of July Celebration including a parade, hot dogs and alpacas.
August 21-22 Fiber Fest, Allegan
Visit our Farm Booth to purchase our Wonder Yarn and Wonder Roving plus talk to the Wonder Why Gal (me)
October ?? Fiber Expo, Ann Arbor
Details to come but I plan on having a booth
October ?? Harvest Fest, Vicksburg
Check out a great fall festival and yes, some of the Wonder Herd will be there.

A couple of years ago we experienced our first alpaca farm visit which started an obsession that has resulted in having our own herd of alpaca. Have you ever wondered why people raise alpaca as livestock? Why alpacas? What do they do? What's their purpose? Really, what are they? Well, those are questions that were asked of us and we were asking ourselves. Why alpacas? That very important question is the basis of how we became the Wonder Why Alpaca Farm? At first it was why on earth are you raising alpacas? The more we learned about these beautiful animals the more we fell in love with the wonder of alpacas.
There are so many ways to experience the wonder of alpacas. We merely have to look out the window to see the wonder or walk toward the pasture to hear the wonder of their gentle hum or when you get a chance to hold on alpaca and feel the wonder of their fabulous fiber. When you visit the Wonder Why Alpaca Farm you will know the answer to, Why Alpacas? It's not just a matter of gaining knowledge about alpacas, if you are serious about breeding, raising, or using the fiber that these beautiful creatures create you need to apply that knowledge to create WISDOM.
The Wonder Why Alpaca Farm raises both Suri and Huacaya Alpaca. Our services include, Sales, Breeding, Agisting, and Fiber Sales along with Farm Tours, Events and Education. If your interested in learning more about alpaca, please contact us to schedule a farm visit.
